Catherine Alexis Hopkins, FNP
Catherine Alexis Hopkins is the FNP Residency Director of the Family Nurse Practitioner Residency Program at Neighborhealth (formerly known as East Boston Neighborhood Health Center).
After receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology from Emory University in 2004, she graduated from the MGH Institute of Health Professions as a member of the Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society with a Master of Science in Nursing in 2009.
Alexis has served the international and local community as a member of the National Health Service Corps from 2012-2014 and through international nursing service trips to the Dominican Republic and Guatemala.
She joined the Family Medicine Department at Neighborhealth in 2014 as a bilingual (Spanish/English) provider, providing compassionate and culturally appropriate primary care for patients of all ages. In 2021, she also became an Epic Clinician Builder in the Informatics Department to improve health outcomes as well as provider satisfaction through improvements of the electronic health record.
In her free time, she enjoys trail running, bird-watching with her one-year old, and mountain biking with her eight-year old.
