Ashley is passionate about strengths-based approaches to supporting mental health, community wellness, and  belonging. Ashley is a Peer Educator for Suicide Prevention at Matchstick Consulting, a Research Assistant at Portland State University studying reproductive healthcare access among justice-involved individuals, and a volunteer Restorative Justice Dialogue Facilitator with the Portland Community Justice Partnership. Ashley will graduate this june with bachelor's degrees in sociology, social science, and liberal studies. In the fall, she will begin a master's in social work program at Portland State, too. Her ultimate goal is to offer mental health counseling to incarcerated adults because she believes that everyone deserves to receive quality care.
