Dr. Smith Kidkarndee (he/they) is an Associate Director at the Graduate Institute of Professional Psychology (GIPP) and serves as coordinator of Psy.D. practicum training (i.e., Pre-practicum, Practicum, and Externship) for GIPP students. Prior to joining GIPP, Dr. Kidkarndee worked as a clinician and supervisor in college mental health settings and was the Director of Training for a practicum and post-doctoral program. 

Dr. Kidkarndee is a licensed clinical psychologist in Connecticut and New York.

Their clinical interests include AAPI Psychology, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Anxiety Disorders, OCD, and Disorders Related to OCD, Clinical Supervision/Training and Consultation, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy & Acceleration Resolution Therapy (ART), Interpersonal Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Psychology of Sexual Orientation and Gender Diversity, Professional Practice Issues, and Social Justice and Advocacy.
