Steven Prasinos, Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist (retired), author and singer/songwriter.  As a psychologist Steven had a successful psychotherapy practice in Woodbury, CT for over 35 years.  As an author he has published numerous professional articles, often exploring the integration of psychology and spirituality.  He is also a published science fiction author and budding watercolorist.  As a musician, Steven has performed throughout the area, often as “Dr. Steve: the Psinging Psychologist”.  He has placed first or second in several songwriting contests and has, for many years, taught his class “ShadowSongs: A Psychological Approach to Songwriting”. Steven lives with his wife Nancy in rural Connecticut.  They have 2 lovely daughters.
