Full Transfer Community Debrief (April 30, 2024)

Program Information

In this session, we will discuss the Full Transfer Drill that you conducted with your practice, EMS, and partner birth center or hospital. We will review what went well, challenges, lessons learned, and have the opportunity to hear others’ input to learn from one another and share best practices. We will set the foundation for sustaining these changes in your practice and quality improvement initiatives.

  • Strengthen the relationship between hospital and community birth practices.
  • Support the development of hospital and birth center-specific transfer guidelines, policies, and protocols for OB emergencies.
  • Enhance emergency response skills to improve quality of care and patient safety.
