Thundermist Health Adult Psychiatric Didactics 2026
Program Information
The purpose of these Didactics is to provide post-graduate level Adult Psychiatric educational sessions. Newly graduated Psychiatric NP's often experience the "Imposter Syndrome," as they begin their new career as a Psych NP.
Topics such as: Documentation Guidelines, Psychiatric Interviewing, Psychopharmacology Overviews and by Class of Psychiatric medications. Personality Disorders, Size Inclusive Health & Eating Disorders, Trauma, Psychiatric Emergencies, Substance Use Disorders, Pregnancy & Post-natal care psychopharmacology, and Case Presentations.

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to do the following:
- Function proficiently as a psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who builds therapeutic alliances with patients, while using best practices in all of the skills of their profession.
