Workshop Information
In this workshop, we’ll focus on how to successfully implement the action steps your team has written and sustain your team's work plan by providing your team with guiding questions and recommendations. Your team will need your work plan and list of action steps on hand throughout this workshop.

- Synthesize action steps from all workshops so that the work plan can effectively drive implementation
- Identify strategies needed to sustain organizational change
- Outline a plan that actualizes your team’s long-term commitment to embedding justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion across your organization

Faculty
Karoline Oliveira, Ed.D, is the Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer at Community Health Center, Inc. Prior to joining CHC, she served as Interim Executive Director, Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and Special Advisor to the President, at Life University in Georgia, where she successfully developed and advanced the university’s DEI strategic agenda. Previously, she was Interim Director of the Multicultural Center at the University of Rhode Island, from which she received her B.S. and M.S. Karoline received her Ed.D. in Higher Education Leadership from Johnson & Wales University. She brings to CHC more than 15 years of experience in driving innovation and furthering the vision and mission of organizations through diversity enhancement initiatives.

In support of improving patient care, Community Health Center, Inc./Weitzman Institute is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credential Center (ANCC) to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

Through Joint Accreditation, Community Health Center, Inc./Weitzman Institute is able to provide AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ to physicians at its activities via Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME).
By completing this activity you provide the Weitzman Institute permission to share completion data with the ACCME and the certifying board(s).
